Hi everyone, as a huge fan of Pennywise I was shocked when Jim left a couple of years ago. In my opinion the day he left was an important and sad day in punk rock. I'm also happy that Pennywise got a new vocalist and that Jim has a new band that sounds similar to Pennywise - the Black Pacific's first album was one of my favorite released last year. I'm stoked that Black Pacific is opening for Rise Against in October - while I'm not that happy that this show is at the John Labatt Center and that ticket prices are high, I understand that Rise Against has gotta play there so that anyone who wants to go can - they're probably too big now to play london music hall. Anyways I'm wondering what everyone thinks of Black Pacific, I'm stoked to see Jim Lindberg perform live for the first time!
