What did everyone think? I've never been to a show at the london music hall parking lot, but I thought it was a great set up! I'm happy the show was moved so that some of my friends could get tickets. The show started off great for me because I ran into Fat Mike as I was coming out of the london music hall! Before lining up to get into the parking lot I went to the washroom in the actual music hall...I heard Fat Mike's voice, and walked outside to see him eating a pita and walking towards his tour bus. I shouted "Fat Mike, I'm stoked for the show tonight", and he replied "yeah man, same here".

During the show, I was standing midway between the back fence and the stage and the sound was amazing. This was my first NOFX show and it definitely lived up to my expectations, with the hilarious stage banter and spontaneous decisions by the guys as to which songs to play. (When Fat Mike bashed the Harper government was probably my favorite party of this). The crowd members I talked with were also awesome...for example: the guy who liked my Clash shirt, singing along with randoms, talking to people in the lineup to the washrooms, people who I talked with about how awesome "Door Nails" is, etc. This show was also great for me since its probably the show where I've had the most friends come out. My only complaint was how many times people threw beer...maybe the first couple of times were funny, but after that this was really stupid, especially the guy who hit Fat Mike in the chest with a beer. Overall it was an amazing show, and I'll definitely be at a NOFX show the next time they play near here!
