REALLY, REALLY FREE MARKET!
ALSO Saturday July 23rd is International Hug Day!!!! Will be giving out free hugs as well!!

WHAT? A really, really free market is a celebration of community! It is a chance for people representing every aspect of our community coming together and sharing what they have – be it “goods” or “services.”
What does goods and services mean? It means that there will be a broad variety of FREE things to choose from (remember, that the more people that come and contribute, the better it is!). Both good...s – clothes, cd’s, books, etc. – and services – music, art, haircutting – to choose from. Remember! These things only happen if people come and offer their sweet skills!

WHY? Innumerable reasons! Because sharing our unneeded but still useful goods is better than throwing them out! Because we can provide for each other instead of depending on individual jobs, money, and corporate stores! It is a chance for life giving community instead of soul sucking corporatism.

WHEN? Saturday July 23rd 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Please bring your stuff as early as possible.

Where does the stuff/skills come from? YOU!
Do I have to bring something to hangout? Not at all! It is a chance for community regardless of the level of participation.
What happens with all the left-over stuff? Ideally people look after their own stuff – let’s not leave the park in shambles! However, if there is worthwhile stuff left over, it will be sent to the London Free Store (http://www.lifespin.org/).

How can I get involved? Tell people, put up posters, share stuff, share skills, show up!
